Biography
Alexander Carpenter edits the Spectrum Blog.
An Andrews University graduate (summa cum laude) in both religion and English literature and a fifth-generation Adventist - Alexander currently studies critical theory, visual culture, and religion at the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, CA.
Interests
Since 1969, Spectrum has created community through conversation. An advocate for the serious discussion of contemporary issues, Spectrum informs and evokes creative approaches to the meanings of Adventism, now online. Upholding the tradition of the prophetic voice, the Spectrum Blog aims to increase the church's awareness that peace and justice is divine.
